# Przelewy24 (P24) onboarding requirements

[Przelewy24 (P24)](https://www.przelewy24.pl/en) is a Poland-based payment method aggregator that allows customers to complete transactions online using bank transfers and other methods. Bank transfers account for 30% of online payments in Poland and P24 provides a way for customers to pay with over 165 banks.

## Requirements
The onboarding requirements that apply depend on when you enable P24:
* **Before August 6, 2026:** You can continue processing P24 payments under the previous business eligibility requirements and prohibited business categories.
* **On or after August 6, 2026:** You must meet P24’s current [business eligibility requirements](#additional-business-requirements) and [prohibited business category requirements](#prohibited-business-categories).
The [website and app information requirements](#web-app-requirements) apply to all P24 users.
## What’s the impact of not meeting the requirement?
Przelewy24 has the right to suspend or terminate your use of Przelewy24 for breaching the prohibited business categories or failing to meet the website/app requirements.
## Business eligibility requirements
To accept P24 payments, you must provide:
* A company tax ID number or VAT number
* A valid business website URL
If you enable P24 on or after August 6, 2026, you must also meet the following requirements:
* **Business entity type:** Sole traders, individuals, and equivalent entity types aren’t supported.
* **Business location:** Your business must be established in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
* **Businesses using a platform:** You must be the merchant of record and operate an identifiable online store where you independently sell your products or services. Your business must be clearly identifiable as the seller. The platform must provide technical infrastructure and must not act as another payment aggregator or payment intermediary.
## Prohibited business categories
Stripe’s [Prohibited and restricted businesses](https://stripe.com/restricted-businesses) list applies to all P24 users.
If you enable P24 on or after August 6, 2026, the following additional business categories are prohibited:
* Airlines, accommodation, passenger or freight transport, travel services, cruises, marinas, campgrounds, and related services
* Used vehicle sales, fuel sales, and vehicle rental
* Telecommunications, internet access, website hosting, downloadable software, software development, data processing, and online information services
* Money transfer, cash or quasi-cash services, cryptocurrency services, securities, insurance, payment services, debt collection, and other financial services
* Marketplaces
* Certain speciality or regulated retail businesses, including dietary supplements, pharmacies, alcohol, tobacco or vaping products, weapons, fireworks, boats, antiques, art, and pawnshops
* Bars, nightclubs, dating or escort services, massage parlours, tattooing, body piercing, and certain other personal services
* Direct marketing, mail-order, subscription, door-to-door, and telemarketing businesses
* Real estate agencies, rental management, and timeshares
* Advertising, employment, counselling, legal, and testing-laboratory services
* Gambling, betting, casinos, lotteries, and horse or dog racing
* Ticketing, event promotion, amusement parks, circuses, fortune-telling, and certain other entertainment services
* Healthcare providers, hospitals, dentists, medical practitioners, and medical laboratories
* Universities, colleges, correspondence schools, business schools, and vocational or trade schools
* Charities, social-service organisations, political or religious organisations, and membership associations
* Government services, including tax and penalty collection
## Website and app information requirements
P24 requires that your website or app be publicly available and contain the following information:
* A list of the products and services you sell and their prices
* Your company’s legal details, including: address, tax number, and registration number
* Links to your refund policy and privacy policies
## Alternative payment method options in Poland
Cards and [BLIK](https://docs.stripe.com/payments/blik) remain widely accepted in Poland and are not subject to the new requirements.
