# Proof of authorization requirements

We conduct routine reviews of Stripe accounts to confirm that businesses are operating in accordance with our [Terms of Service](https://stripe.com/legal/ssa). Some businesses—including those that sell copyrighted products—may need to provide additional information to demonstrate that they are authorized to offer the products or services they sell.
If we ask you for proof of authorization, submit the requested document using the requirements below.
## License agreement or reseller authorization letter
Your license agreement or reseller authorization letter must include:
* The effective date of the agreement.
* The names of each party to the agreement, including the rights holder and distributor or reseller.
* Details of the specific content, products, or services licensed under the agreement.
* Signatures from both parties.
## Invoice
Your invoice must include:
* Your full name or business name and address, as well as the seller’s full name or business name and address.
* The date the invoice was created.
* The payment due date.
* A unique invoice number.
* The quantity and price of each product or service sold.
* The total amount due.
* A product or service description that matches the items we asked you about.
* Quantities that correspond to the volume of products or services you offer.
## Proof of authenticity
Your proof of authenticity must include:
* A signature or stamp from the guarantor of authenticity.
* A watermark, hologram, or serial number.
* A product or service description that matches the items we asked you about.
## Supplier email
Your PDF of the supplier email must include:
* The supplier’s business name and official contact information, such as a phone number and address.
* Any relevant business-registration details.
* Confirmation that you are authorized to sell the supplier’s goods, including the applicable products or services, regions, or markets covered by the authorization.
