# Platform-issued 1099 tax forms delivered in the Dashboard

This article is for connected accounts who have access to the Dashboard and whose platform files and delivers their 1099 through Stripe.
## How to access your form
1. Check your email for a notification from Stripe. When your platform files your 1099, Stripe sends an email with a direct link to **Document Settings** in the Dashboard.
1. Click the link in the email, or log in to the Dashboard and navigate to **Document Settings**.
1. If this is your first time accessing 1099 tax forms for this platform, consent to e-delivery when prompted. This consent is required even if you consented to e-delivery in a prior year.
1. Download your form from the **Document Settings** page.
## Review your tax information
To see the name, tax ID, and business type that appear on your tax form, from the Dashboard go to **Settings**, then **Business Details**. You can update your tax details there at any time.
## Correct your form
If the information on your 1099 form is incorrect, the correction process depends on who filed the form. You may receive a 1099 from both a platform and Stripe depending on the filing obligation.
For a form filed by your platform: contact your platform and ask them to issue a corrected 1099 tax form. Update your tax details in **Settings** > **Business Details** beforehand so the platform has your current information.
For a form filed by Stripe: your platform cannot edit these forms. You can correct your Stripe issued tax form in the Dashboard.
