Stripe does not expose merchant accounts and the merchant ID is often not necessary to complete an application.

If you are prompted for a merchant ID or merchant account number while filling in a permit or licence application, you should leave the field blank or enter your email address in that field.

If you have tried leaving the field blank or have entered your email address but cannot submit your application in this way, send an email to Stripe Support.
