# Managed Payments transaction support, refunds, and order management

_Learn how Stripe handles transaction support, refunds and order management on your behalf._
## Transaction Support
Stripe manages support requests for payments and subscriptions through [Link support](https://support.link.com/topics/sold-through-link). If customers request assistance, Stripe may redirect the customer to contact you for product-specific questions. If the customer has a refund request, Stripe may reach out to you via the support email configured in your [Dashboard settings](https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/business-details) for your input.
If you don't respond within 48 hours, Stripe may refund the transaction without your input. You can still respond directly to customers, provide [refunds](https://docs.stripe.com/refunds), update [subscriptions](https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/change), and address product issues or concerns.
## Refunds
Customers can request refunds by contacting [Link support](https://support.link.com/questions/requesting-a-refund-for-a-sold-through-link-payment). Stripe may issue refunds at our discretion to resolve disputes within 60 days of the original transaction. When you or Stripe issue a refund, the refund amount includes any sales tax the customer paid. Although the customer receives a full refund, Stripe must retain and remit the original sales tax amount on refunded transactions in certain jurisdictions. As a result, in these jurisdictions, your account balance will decrease by the amount corresponding to the original sales tax amount.
## Order Management
Customers can get support from [Link](https://support.link.com/) or via their email receipt, and can manage their orders directly from their [Link](https://link.com/) account, including:
* View order history
* Cancel or update subscriptions
* Update payment methods
