# Manage Capital offers for connected accounts that use a Stripe-hosted Dashboard

Stripe Capital financing offers are automatically enabled for connected accounts that use the Stripe Dashboard and the Express Dashboard. Eligible connected accounts can view and apply for financing offers directly in the Stripe Dashboard and Express Dashboard and receive offer notifications from Stripe.
**Do I need to do anything to set this up?**
No integration work is required. Capital is automatically enabled for eligible connected accounts with no action needed on your part.
---
## Cost and liability
**Is there any cost to my platform?**
No. There is no incremental cost to your platform for Stripe Capital being enabled.
**Is my platform financially liable if a connected account doesn't repay their loan?**
No. Your platform bears no financial liability for credit losses. All credit risk is absorbed by Stripe Capital. Stripe handles all credit decisions, collections, and customer communications — your platform brand is not involved by default.
---
## Impact to your connected accounts
**Which connected accounts will receive Capital offers?**
Only connected accounts that meet [Stripe Capital's eligibility criteria](https://docs.stripe.com/capital/how-stripe-capital-works) receive offers. Eligibility is based on factors including payment volume and account history with Stripe. Not all connected accounts qualify.
**What do my connected accounts see?**
Eligible connected accounts see financing offers in the Stripe or Express Dashboard. Stripe handles all loan communications, servicing, and support.
**What if my connected accounts have questions**
Connected accounts can reach Stripe directly at capital@stripe.com with any questions about their financing.
**Will Capital offers use my platform's branding?**
Capital offer emails are Stripe-branded. Contact your account team if you are interested in co-branded communications.
**Can my connected accounts opt out of Capital offers?**
Yes. Connected accounts can manage or decline financing offers directly within the Express Dashboard.
---
## Disabling and Enabling Capital
**Can I turn off Capital for my connected accounts?**
Turn off Capital for your connected accounts with access to the Express dashboard from the [Connect Capital settings](https://dashboard.stripe.com/). You cannot turn off Capital for connected accounts with access to the full Stripe dashboard.
**What happens if I opt out?**
Connected accounts that haven't yet received an offer will stop receiving Capital offers and notification emails. If a connected account received an offer before you opted out, that offer remains active until it expires — offers cannot be revoked once sent.
**Can I re-enable Capital after opting out?**
Yes. You can turn Capital back on at any time through your [Connect Capital settings](https://dashboard.stripe.com/) in the Stripe Dashboard.
---
## Reporting and reconciliation
**Does Capital affect my reporting or payouts?**
If your platform uses custom reporting or manages payouts manually, Capital-related transactions — including loan disbursements and repayments — appear in your connected accounts' balance transactions. Review Stripe's [reporting and reconciliation guidance for Capital](https://docs.stripe.com/capital/reporting-and-reconciliation) to ensure your reports account for these transaction types correctly.
---
## Going further with Capital
**Can I surface Capital offers in my own product?**
Yes. Embed Capital offers directly into your own platform dashboard using Stripe's [Capital embedded components](https://docs.stripe.com/connect/supported-embedded-components?platform=web#capital).
**Is revenue share available?**
Contact your account team or visit [stripe.com/capital/platforms](https://stripe.com/capital/platforms) to learn about eligibility, including revenue share and co-marketing options.
**How do I learn more about the Capital for platforms program?**
Visit [stripe.com/capital/platforms](https://stripe.com/capital/platforms) or contact your account team.
