"Know Your Customer" (KYC) requirements for connected accounts
The requirements and responsibility of submitting "Know Your Customer" (KYC) information is different depending on the Connected account type.
Standard Connected Accounts
The account holder is responsible for submitting the required information from their Dashboard, not the platform.
Custom Connected Accounts
The platform is required to collect KYC information for the account holders of the account and submit that information using the Stripe API.
