If I disconnect my account, how will that impact my ability to pay my merchant?

You may have linked your financial account to a merchant to make payments.

After disconnecting your account, the merchant will no longer be able to pull information from your linked account, but may continue to successfully process future payments. Reach out to your merchant if you’d like them to delete any historical information they may have stored on their systems, including information needed to process payments.

If you have disconnected your account and contacted the merchant to delete any copies of your data that they may have created on their systems, you will need to relink your financial account to make future payments.
