# How to sign out of your account

There are two different ways to sign out of your account, depending on which version of the Stripe dashboard you’re on.
1. In the **Settings** menu on the upper right of [your Dashboard](https://dashboard.stripe.com/), click **Sign out**. If a dropdown menu does not appear, use the account switcher method below.
