A Stripe extension allowed users to sync Stripe data to other business tools, like analytics dashboards, data warehouses or other third-party services. In July 2022 we launched Stripe Apps, a new way for you to integrate all the tools you use to run your business.
All legacy extensions will be deprecated by 2024. To guarantee continued functionality it is best to update to a Stripe App whenever possible. A complete list of available apps can be found in the Stripe App Marketplace.
If you are already using an extension, those with an available Stripe App can be viewed and upgraded to in the App Settings page on the Stripe Dashboard.
Update to a Stripe App
To complete an upgrade from the App Settings page an Administrator can select "Update" next to the desired Stripe App.
After choosing to update, you’ll be prompted to accept permissions. After reviewing and accepting the new permissions, the Stripe App will be installed.
After successfully installing the new Stripe App, you’ll find your new app in the Stripe Apps drawer located on the right-hand side of your Dashboard.
Depending on the Stripe App, you may have additional onboarding to complete in the app or the app provider’s service external site.
