Link is a reusable payment method that auto-fills your customers' payment and shipping details for them at checkout. Customers store their payment information with Link once, and reuse it across all other websites that support it. When new customers come to your site for the first time, they can use Link to pay with their saved payment details.
When Google Pay or Apple Pay are not available on a customer's device, Link is displayed in their place. In addition, when the customer is logged in to Link from any other website, Link displays with higher priority over other wallets.
If you'd like to disable Link in on your website, you can do so from your Stripe dashboard:
For the product pages, minicart, shopping basket, and top checkout section, you can disable it from your Link settings
For the redirect flow (Stripe Checkout), you can disable it from your Checkout settings
For the embedded flow with Payment Element, you can disable it from your Payment Method settings
Once Link has been disabled, it may take a few minutes for the change to take effect on your website.
