• Swipe left for the settings drawer

• Click “Settings”, enter the Admin PIN (07139)

• Click “Diagnostics” and check “Firmware” and “Config version”. You can also see our instructions here.  

BBPOS WisePad 3:

You can check this either on the card reader or via the point of sale application.

• If checking from the card reader, hit the Settings button and use the arrow keys to navigate to Firmware # and Config Version. (Note: the firmware listed on this menu is a slightly truncated version vs. the ones listed in our documentation)

• If you’re checking from your application, use the check deviceSoftwareVersion (iOS) and softwareVersion (Android) methods.
