# How do I build an app for distribution to other businesses?

Once you have developed an app, you can publish it to the [Stripe App Marketplace](https://marketplace.stripe.com/) for distribution to other businesses. You’ll need to [upload your app](https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-apps/upload-app) and then submit it for review. We review your app to make sure it follows the [review guidelines](https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-apps/marketplace/review-guidelines).
Once your app has been approved, you can then [publish it](https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-apps/marketplace/publish-app#publish-app) in the Stripe App Marketplace.
**Note: You can only publish one app per account.**
