# How can I check the status of my wire transfer?

Since wire transfers are initiated outside of Stripe, there is no way for you to check the ongoing status of a wire transfer in your dashboard.
That being said, once your wire transfer is reconciled you will be able to view the funds in [your dashboard](https://dashboard.stripe.com/login). To view these funds, go to the **Future refunds or disputes or negative balance** section at the bottom of your [Balances](https://dashboard.stripe.com/balance/overview) page. You will also be able to see a reconciled wire transfer in your [Payouts](https://dashboard.stripe.com/payouts) page with a "Bank Transfer" label.
Wire transfers may take 5-7 days to appear in your Stripe account.
