# Handling discovery and audit notices with Managed Payments

Tax jurisdictions may request your sales data to verify indirect tax compliance.
If you receive a discovery or audit notice related to sales transactions supported by the Stripe’s Managed Payments service, you must contact Stripe within 14 business days and provide a copy of the original notice to our team.
Don't reply to tax jurisdictions prior to informing Stripe and for input.
