# Funding your US financial account

Top up your US financial account by pulling funds from a linked bank account, or pushing funds from your external bank. For details on how each payment method works, see US payment methods for funding your financial account.
## Initiating a top-up
### Pull from external bank (ACH Debit)
1. Go to **Balances** > **Financial account** in the Dashboard.
1. Select **Add money** > **Linked bank account**.
1. Choose your verified external bank account. If you haven’t verified your bank account, you’ll need to complete microdeposit verification or add your bank account again by logging in through Financial Connections.
1. Enter the amount and confirm.
Stripe initiates the ACH debit on the next business day. Funds typically arrive in 0-3 business days.
### Push from your bank (ACH Credit or Fedwire)
No setup is required in Stripe. Instruct your external bank to send a payment to:
* Routing number: found in the Dashboard under **Financial account** > **Account details**
* Account number: found in the same location
* Account holder name: your business name as registered with Stripe
ACH Credit funds typically arrive in 1–2 business days, but can take up to three days. For same-day settlement, use Fedwire and ensure your bank submits the wire before 5pm ET on a business day.

## FAQ
### Do ACH transfers have a minimum or maximum?
There is no Stripe-imposed minimum. ACH transfers are subject to your bank's per-transaction limits, and Stripe may apply daily or monthly limits based on your account type. Contact support if you need higher limits.
### Why hasn't my ACH pull arrived after 3 business days?
ACH returns can occur if there are insufficient funds, the account is closed, or the account holder disputes the debit. Check the Dashboard under **Financial account** > **Transactions** for any return codes. If no return is shown and it has been more than 3 business days, contact Stripe support.
### Can I cancel an ACH Debit pull after initiating it?
ACH Debit pulls can be cancelled within a short window (typically same day) before they're submitted to the network. After submission, cancellation isn't possible; you'd need to wait for settlement and then move the funds back.
### Does Stripe charge a fee for incoming ACH transfers?
There's no fee for ACH Debit or ACH Credit. Fedwire carries a 2 USD flat incoming fee.
### What are the Fedwire routing details?
Your financial account's routing number and account number for Fedwire are the same as for ACH. Both are visible in the Dashboard under **Financial account** > **Account details**.
