If you are unable to verify your documents programmatically, Stripe might need to request additional documentation in order to verify the individuals as well as the businesses connected to a Stripe account.

Please provide Stripe with the additional documents if you fall under one of the exceptions listed below.

Proof-of-address document is issued in your partner's name

You must supply:

• Proof-of-address documentation in your partner's name

• Marriage or civil partnership certificate with both your name (as displayed on your Stripe account) and your partner's name (as displayed on the proof-of-address documentation)

These documents will need to be merged and uploaded as one file. The file should be uploaded in .pdf format with a size of less than 10 Mb.

Proof-of-address document is issued in your parent/guardian's name

You must supply:

• Proof-of-address documentation in your parent/guardian's name

• Birth/legal guardianship certificate with both your name (as displayed on your Stripe account) and your parent/legal guardian's name (as displayed on the proof-of-address documentation)

These documents will need to be merged and uploaded as one file. The file should be uploaded in .pdf format with a size of less than 10 Mb.

Proof-of-address document was issued prior to finalising a legal name change

You must supply:

• Proof-of-address documentation in your previous name prior to the legal name change

• Official name change certification clearly showing your new name (as displayed on your Stripe account) and your previous name (as displayed on the proof-of-address documentation)

These documents will need to be merged and uploaded as one file. The file should be uploaded in .pdf format with a size of less than 10 Mb.
