# Does Stripe review these apps?

Stripe has a review process to ensure that all apps on the marketplace are safe to use and uphold our standards in areas like design, user experience, performance, and reliability. The review process includes a manual review of each app submission as well as automated scans and live testing. Stripe also imposes security and privacy requirements for user data on all apps. Apps are also required to comply with all applicable laws, including data privacy and security laws and regulations.
