# Do Stripe Tax reports include Managed Payments?

Stripe Tax reports don't include volume from transactions processed through Managed Payments.
When a merchant uses Managed Payments, Stripe acts as the Merchant of Record. In this arrangement:
* Tax is calculated by the Managed Payments account, not the merchant's Stripe Tax account.
* Stripe assumes all sales tax liability, including calculation, registration, and remittance.
* The tax handling happens within Stripe's infrastructure as the merchant of record.
This means that Managed Payments transactions have their own separate tax management system and won't appear in your standard Stripe Tax reports.
If you use both standard Stripe payments with Stripe Tax enabled and Managed Payments for certain transactions, you'll only see the standard Stripe payment volume in your Stripe Tax reports.
For information on Managed Payments invoices, see Which invoices will I receive for Managed Payments transactions?
If you have additional tax compliance needs, see How do I request tax forms for sales supported by Managed Payments? to review the tax forms supported for Managed Payments sales.
