Do I need to open a bank account to accept Indonesia Bank transfer payments ?

BCA Virtual Account

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has issued a new requirement for all merchants to provide a BCA business bank account upon onboarding. To accept BCA Virtual Account payments, all merchants need to satisfy the requirements below:

Register your Stripe account with legal entity type company/private limited and provide onboarding documents: https://support.stripe.com/questions/requirements-to-open-a-stripe-account-in-indonesia
Provide a BCA business bank account (under the merchant business name)

* Merchant with legal entity type individual / sole prop can't use BCA Virtual Account payments.

BNI/Mandiri Virtual Account

You won't need to open a BNI/Mandiri bank account to accept BNI/Mandiri virtual account bank transfers, as we already handle that for you.

Stripe holds any money you receive on your behalf, and you can use any bank account to receive payouts. You can view your remaining balance in the dashboard: https://dashboard.stripe.com/balance/overview.
