Passkeys allow you to securely sign in to the Stripe Dashboard with a biometric scan or using a hardware security key without ever needing to type a password.

In addition to using a modern browser, your device must be up to date to use passkeys. The following operating systems have support for passkeys:

• iOS (version 16 and higher)
• macOS (version 13 and higher)
• Windows (version 11 and higher)
• Android (version 9 and higher)

Note: The Stripe Dashboard Mobile App on Android currently does not support passkeys. That being said, you can still use passkeys stored on your Android device to sign into the Stripe dashboard from a different device. You can also use the same passkeys stored on your Android device to sign into the Stripe web dashboard on a supported browser on your Android device.
