# Dashboard home page charts for business insights

The [Stripe Dashboard,](https://dashboard.stripe.com/dashboard) has various charts that provide a quick look at your account information. You can customize this page to highlight important financial details about your business and make it easier to do your most common tasks.
To see all available charts and data available, click **Add** or **Edit** to remove, organize, and add widgets. Once you're done making changes, click **Apply** or **Done** to update your homepage.

## Important notes about home charts
* **Estimates:** The charts on your homepage give you estimated information about your account activity. For a more accurate, detailed view, we recommend using one of our [Financial Reports](https://docs.stripe.com/reports/select-a-report), which you can find in the [Reports section](https://dashboard.stripe.com/reports/hub) of your Dashboard.
* **Currency and exchange rates:** The charts show data in your main currency. If you receive payouts in different currencies, the charts will include estimates of foreign exchange rates. Exchange rates can change, so the rates provided may not exactly match the amounts you receive, especially if you work with multiple currencies.
* **Off-Stripe processed payments:** If you are tracking successful [off-Stripe payments](https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/third-party-payment-processing?process-payments-third-party=own-processor) within Stripe, this will be reflected in [Revenue Recognition](https://docs.stripe.com/revenue-recognition) and [Billing Analytics](https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/analytics). However, because the actual cash from these payments doesn't go into the Stripe account, the volume from these payments is not counted in the gross volume shown on the home chart.
## Customize the date range
Change the date range for the charts on your Dashboard:
1. Select a preset or custom date range from the first dropdown menu.

1. Choose how you want to view the data by selecting a time unit.
Depending on the range you've chosen, you can adjust the data display. For example, if you select a one-week range, you can see the data in a daily or hourly format. For longer time periods, the Dashboard will present the data in larger increments like weeks or months.
1. Pick a comparison range from the third dropdown menu.

### Automatic Rounding of Units
The charts automatically adjust the time frames to the nearest unit based on the data you’re looking at.
