Corporate Card: User roles and permissions

As you invite additional cardholders to your Stripe Corporate Card account, you may want to change the user roles that control what access permissions they have. Stripe Corporate Card roles are set on the team settings page.

There are three roles that provide different levels of Corporate Card access:

 Administrator:

  • An administrator will have full access to the Corporate Card Dashboard, statements, and data.

  • An administrator has the same level of access as the Stripe account owner and can view API keys, change account settings, and invite new Corporate Card users. Administrators cannot delete or make changes to the Stripe account owner, but they can connect the Stripe account to Connect platforms.

 Analyst

  • An analyst receives view-only access to the Corporate Card Dashboard data and the ability to download related reports.

  • An analyst cannot access any account settings or view API keys. They also cannot make changes to Stripe Radar settings.

Cardholder

  • This is the default role for new users invited to Stripe Corporate Card, and is a Corporate Card specific user role.

  • A cardholder will only have access to their personal credit card information, and cannot view company-wide Corporate Card data or reports.
