# Confirm success of a SetupIntent

To confirm successful save of a SetupIntent, check the [Events](https://dashboard.stripe.com/events) section of your Dashboard. If you see a `setup_intent.succeeded` event, this confirms that the card was authenticated and saved with the SetupIntent. The card can then be attached to a customer.
