Closing an account will not prevent scheduled payouts from happening (e.g. if an account was closed today, a payment accepted yesterday would still deposit into the account’s bank account as normally scheduled), but it will not be possible to retrieve any information about the payouts or Stripe account going forward.
However, if the corresponding payout fails, you may have issues in retrying the payout, as dashboard access is revoked. We strongly recommend waiting until all funds have been successfully paid out to your bank account before closing your Stripe account.
We also recommend exporting any reports that are required, as Stripe Support has limited access once an account is deleted.
