# Check your eligibility for Stripe Fundraising

[Stripe Fundraising](http://dashboard.stripe.com/fundraising) is available to eligible US startups that are activated on Stripe Payments. Stripe checks your account and business information before providing access.
## Eligibility requirements
Your business must be:
* A US-based C corporation
* A startup or other non-enterprise business
* Activated on Stripe Payments
* In good standing with Stripe’s account requirements
Your founders can live outside the United States, but your business entity must be based in the United States.
You don’t need to incorporate with Stripe Atlas to use Fundraising. If you incorporated outside of Atlas, enter your state of incorporation when you set up Fundraising. Stripe adds the state you provide to your fundraising documents, so make sure you enter it accurately.
## Ineligible businesses
Fundraising isn’t available to:
* Limited liability companies (LLCs)
* S corporations
* Sole proprietorships
* Subsidiaries
* Public companies or other complex corporate entities
* Businesses based outside the United States
* Enterprise businesses
* Businesses without an active Stripe Payments account
## If you can’t access Fundraising
Confirm that:
* Your business and representative information is complete.
* Your account is activated for Stripe Payments.
* Your business is a US-based C corporation.
* You’re signed in to the correct Stripe account.
