From February 5, 2024, we are making some changes to how we onboard new users in order to ensure our long-term product offering and onboarding processes are in line with the specific needs of businesses involved in cross border commerce.
As a result, there will be an impact to some new customers in the Asia Pacific region. If you are an existing Stripe user, there is no impact to your Stripe account.
How will I know if my Stripe account is impacted?
Existing Stripe user accounts are not impacted by these changes. However, we actively review and audit all Stripe accounts regularly to ensure they are compliant with our Terms of Service. Accounts impacted by these reviews will be notified directly.
What is the impact to Platforms using Stripe Connect?
Platforms currently using Stripe Connect are not impacted by these changes. Please reach out to your Stripe representative if you have any questions specific to your business.
