# Changes to Google Play Store Rules

On October 29th, 2025, Google [changed its guidelines](https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/15582165) for how developers serving US customers can process payments.

Apps can now process payments in their app using payment providers like Stripe.
By processing with a third-party provider like Stripe, you can save up to 90% in fees.
