# Browser and device support for passkeys 

Passkeys offer a secure, passwordless login to the Stripe Dashboard using biometrics (such as Touch ID, Windows Hello, or Face ID), a device PIN, or a hardware security key.
### Supported browsers
These browsers have passkey support:
* Chrome (version 108 and higher)
* Firefox (version 122 and higher)
  * Passkeys only work on Firefox if you select the "Sign in with passkey" option. They don’t work for two-step authentication due to browser limitations.
* Microsoft Edge (version 108 and higher)
* Safari (version 16.1 and higher)
* Opera (version 97 and higher)
### Supported devices
These operating systems have passkey support:
* iOS (version 16 and higher)
* macOS (version 13 and higher)
* Windows (version 11 and higher)
* Android (version 9 and higher)
  * The Stripe Dashboard Mobile App on Android does not support passkeys.
  * You can use Android device passkeys to sign in from a supported browser on that device or from a different device.
