If you are a corporation, registered charity or non-profit organisation, you are required to verify your business and directors' information. Stripe will check the business name, business address and director information that you have submitted on your account against the information available with the provincial and/or federal registries of businesses in the US. This means that we will check your:

If the information about your directors which has been submitted with Stripe cannot be found, does not match the information in the registry exactly, or if your business name or address submitted on Stripe does not match the name and address listed on the registry of businesses exactly, you will need to update the information on the registry or review the information provided to Stripe. We may restrict your ability to accept payments or make payouts to your bank account until the information matches exactly.
