If you are experiencing an outage and cannot collect payments using Stripe Terminal, you will first need to confirm what is causing the outage to take the appropriate action.

If you are not able to navigate to other webpages, your network is likely down, and you should reach out to your network administrator to resolve the outage.

If you are able to navigate to other pages, it might be a Stripe issue. Check Stripe’s status. If Stripe is not reporting an issue and your network is operating as expected, contact Stripe Support for further assistance.

To continue taking in-person payments when the network is degraded, consider collecting card payment while offline.
