# ACH Direct Debit payment settlement time

Stripe offers different settlement timings for ACH Direct Debit payments. Standard settlement timing is **six working days** from the payment creation date for users on the **Charges API** and **four working days** for users on the **PaymentIntents API**.
Once ACH Direct Debit payments have been settled to your Stripe account balance, payouts are made to your bank account according to your set [payout schedule](https://stripe.com/docs/payouts#payout-schedule).
