# 1099-DA Tax Forms

## What is a 1099-DA form?
The [IRS 1099-DA form](https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-1099-da) is an informational tax document that summarizes the sale, exchange, or disposal of digital (crypto) assets. It’s designed to help your customers file their personal income taxes.
Stablecoin transactions are aggregated on one Form 1099-DA. A single form includes the sale of multiple units of stablecoin. To the extent that your customer has sold crypto with other providers, you may receive other [1099-DA forms](https://www.irs.gov/instructions/i1099da#en_US_2025_publink1000131989).
## Who is eligible for a 1099-DA form?
Stripe will send a 1099-DA form to consumers who sold, exchanged, or otherwise disposed of $10,000 USD or more of stablecoin using Stripe and Link in tax year 2025.
## When will consumers receive a 1099-DA?
These forms will be sent via postal mail by February 17, 2026. No e-delivery option is available.
## How does my customer correct or update their 1099-DA form?
If your customer’s 1099-DA form contains incorrect details, they should [contact Stripe Support](https://support.stripe.com/contact/) with their correction. Stripe will issue a corrected 1099-DA form via postal mail.
