# Viewing and updating your 1099 delivery preferences

You can view and update your 1099 delivery preference directly in [Stripe Express](https://connect.stripe.com/express_login).
## Finding your delivery preference
1. Log in to your [Stripe Express account](https://connect.stripe.com/express_login).
1. Go to the **Tax Forms** tab.
1. Open **Profile settings**.
## Switching to postal mail
If you have opted in to e-delivery but would like to switch to postal mail, toggle **Postal mail delivery** in your **Profile settings**. If you don't see a toggle option, contact your platform for assistance.

If you switch to postal mail, make sure your mailing address is current. You can update your address by following How do I update my tax information? .
## Things to keep in mind
- **Already-filed forms are not affected.** 1099 tax forms that have already been filed will be delivered using whichever delivery method was in place at the time of filing.
- **There is a deadline to opt in.** Your delivery preference must be set before mid-January. If you miss the deadline, your 1099 will be mailed to the address on file — make sure it's correct.
- **Contact your platform for help.** If you have questions about a specific form, contact your platform directly.
