## Accepted document types
### Business tax or VAT registration certificate
Tax registration certificate issued by local government office for businesses to conduct their activities in a jurisdiction is a required document.
* The tax registration certificate is often issued alongside a business license. In the USA it is issued by the state governments, instead of IRS.
* VAT certificates get distributed by local government offices in countries where VAT applies. This form of licensing allows a business under VAT rules to legally file taxes, obtain tax refunds, and move product in and out of country.
* Typically, the main contents of the Tax or VAT registration certificate include: name of taxpayer, unified tax number, legal representative, address, economic nature or economic type, method of business operation, business scope, business period and validity of identification document.
