If you cannot pass the security check to download a 1099 tax form from the current year, you may need to contact your platform for help accessing your form.

In order to download a 1099 tax form from the current year, you will need to pass a security check and provide the last four digits of the TIN (SSN or EIN) which can currently be found on the form in question. If you are attempting to download your 1099 tax form but are being blocked, it's possible that your platform has updated the TIN on your 1099 tax form since you claimed your Stripe Express account. If you've changed your TIN and/or business type, this would also affect the TIN that appears on your 1099 tax form.

If you've recently requested a business type change or have recently switched from an SSN to an EIN (or vice versa), your platform may have updated your 1099 tax form for the current year already.

If this applies to you, please attempt to complete the challenge using your *other* TIN. The TIN challenge is looking for the last four digits of the TIN that appears on the 1099 tax form; please make absolutely sure that you enter the correct one.
