# I can’t pass the TIN security challenge to download my 1099 tax form

To download a 1099 tax form from the [Express Dashboard](https://connect.stripe.com/express_login), you need to enter the last four digits of the Tax Identification Number (TIN) on that form as a security check. The TIN is either a Social Security Number (SSN) or an Employer Identification Number (EIN), and the digits you enter need to match the form exactly.
Your TIN may have changed since you claimed your Stripe Express account. This can happen if you changed your business type, updated your TIN, or switched between an SSN and an EIN. If any of these apply, try entering a different TIN.
