# How do I set up my Stripe Express account for tax forms?

If your platform uses Stripe for tax form delivery, you may have received an email like this one to set up a Stripe Express account.

If you didn’t receive it but want to access Stripe Express, see [how to request a new invite link](https://support.stripe.com/express/how-do-i-get-a-new-invite-link). Keep in mind that not all platforms use Stripe Express for tax form delivery.
## Setting up your account
The email will prompt you to click **Confirm information**, which will guide you through account creation by verifying:
- Phone number
- Email address
- First and last name
- Last 4 digits of your personal tax ID
  - _Your tax ID number depends on your employment type and country. Examples include SSN, SIN, TIN, NINO, and TFN._
- Date of birth
Once set up, confirm your tax information. This is what appears on the tax form you'll receive from your platform. You'll also choose how you'd like to receive your tax form: e-delivery or postal mail.

If we can't verify your details during setup, you may be asked a few more questions. If your details don't match, contact your platform to check if your information is up to date.
