If you're a Dasher or a Merchant that received an email from DoorDash titled “[Action Required] Update Your Tax Info to Continue Dashing” you should follow the prompts to ensure that you submit your W9 tax form as requested. Be prepared to provide verification of your identity before accessing your Stripe Express account.
You will have until December 11, 2024 to successfully complete the submission of your W9 tax form.
Non-single-person entity accounts: Follow the prompts in your email titled “[Action Required] Update Your Tax Info to Continue Dashing” to access your Stripe Express account and complete the W9 tax form module. Please make sure you enter the name and taxpayer identification number that matches both your account and matches the IRS database.

Use the link in the email titled “[Action Required] Update Your Tax Info to Continue Dashing” to kick off account verification. Once you’ve completed the verification step you will be asked to complete a form with questions about your tax residency status.

After you complete the submission DoorDash will be notified and review the status of your tax form submission to inform you if there are corrections needed. If no additional corrections are needed DoorDash will reactivate your Dasher or Merchant account.
