# Confirm your tax information for e-delivery

Before your 1099 tax form is available in Stripe Express, you need to confirm your tax information and opt in to e-delivery. If your tax information can't be verified automatically, Stripe takes 1 to 2 business days to manually verify it. Check your email for a message when the review is complete.
## What if Stripe can't verify my tax information?
- If you believe your information is correct, confirm your details with your platform.
- If verification still fails after Stripe's manual review, contact your platform to request a paper copy of your 1099. Paper copies typically take up to 10 business days to arrive.
## My form hasn't arrived after confirming my tax information
Confirming your tax information and opting in to e-delivery doesn't generate a 1099. Your form only appears in Stripe Express after your platform files it with the IRS.
Some platforms deliver 1099 forms through their own app or portal instead of Stripe Express. Your platform, not Stripe, is responsible for filing and delivering your 1099.
If you can't find your form in Stripe Express:
* Check your platform's app or help center for your 1099 form.
* Confirm with your platform that they filed a 1099 on your behalf.
* If your platform account is deactivated, contact your platform's support team directly.
* Check that you meet the IRS eligibility threshold for your form type.
Stripe can't email, resend, or provide a copy of your form.
