# Can I use the same email for my Express and Standard Stripe accounts?

Whether you can use the same email depends on which type of account you already have:
- **Express to Standard:** No. If you have an Express account, you can't sign up for a Standard ([stripe.com](http://stripe.com/)) account with the same email. To sign up for a Standard account, use an email alias (for example, `bob+stripe@example.com` instead of `bob@example.com`).
- **Standard to Express:** Yes. If you have a Standard account, you can sign up for an Express account using the same email.
## How do I sign in to each account?
Use these links:
- Standard account: [dashboard.stripe.com](https://dashboard.stripe.com/login)
- Express account: [express.stripe.com](https://express.stripe.com/)
## Can I use the same email for multiple Express accounts?
Yes, you can sign up for an Express account with a new platform using the same email as an existing Express account.
If you see the error `"An account exists with this email but a different phone. Please use a different email or enter the phone number ending in..."`, the phone number on your new account doesn't match your existing one. For more information, see I lost my phone or changed my number – how do I login to my account?.
## Will my payout details carry over to a new Express account?
If you sign up for a new Express account using an existing email, your bank or debit card details will be copied over automatically. Editing your payout details on one account won't affect your other accounts.
